Hour-Matching Respite Care Grant
Respite care is not designed to completely remove the responsibilities from parents and guardians. However, the hours provided by counties or other programs often fall short of offering a truly meaningful break. Time and time again, we hear the same concern: more hours are needed. That’s why we are committed to supporting parents and guardians by matching the hours approved by counties. This initiative is made possible through the generosity of individuals and organizations who recognize the importance of giving caregivers the chance to rest and recharge.
We are pleased to accept and match full or partial CLTS-approved hours, contingent upon available funding.
As simple as following steps 1 through 4 outlined above.
1. Parent request respite care services
2. Counties approve a set number of hours
3. We will match the granted hours
4. Our caregivers provide respite care
